There is no such thing as "humane milk" or "humane diary-industry"

Taking care of a dog is a life-time-commitment, just like taking care of one's children.
If one isn't prepared for this commitment one shouldn't adopt a dog.
There are dogs getting killed each day at a animal shelter that one can save: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.275017085844511.78596.152876678058553&type=3

Cows are looked upon as objects by the farmers - objects that don't mind of getting killed. The small family-farmers will have to sell their male calves to other persons and they will inevitably end up at someone's dining plate :(. This is how cows are treated. The only guarantee and safe-haven for a cow would be at the home of a vegan, but family farmers who eat meat don't have any moral objection of cows getting killed and no incentive to ensure this.
If one's is selling the cow to someone involved in the diary-industry one is supporting and helping to keep the inhumane and life-taking diary-industry alive.
Having a cow should be a life-time-commitment, just like taking care of one's children.
This is only one reason why there is no such thing as "human milk"
