The plant-based food that is available today can feed 10 billion people. Now lots of the food is fed to animals (56 billion land-animals killed each year) - who are only raised up with the tragic misfortune to end up on someone's plate - and people in the world are starving.

A diet including meat is not sustainable. The plant-based food that is available today can feed 10 billion people. Now lots of the food is fed to animals (56 billion land-animals killed each year) - who are only raised up with the tragic misfortune to end up on someone's plate - and people in the world are starving.

But the other animals health and well-being is equally important:
A child naturally would never kill, hurt or abuse any animal.
Our empathy and love that we are born with is not selective in terms of species.

Would a Creator full of love, compassion and forgiveness to all beings, command killing of innocent, feeling and precious animals as sacrifices or for something as "taste" or "enjoyment" or "tradition"?

I believe that you have compassion with dogs.
Like most people, you believe that it would be wrong for a person to maim or kill a cat out of anger. You would also be revolted by someone who burned a dog for the sake of enjoyment. Generally speaking, you agree that because harming these animals in such ways is unnecessary, the above actions are unjustified.

So how can you believe that it is okay to treat another animal - able to feel the same amount of pain, joy and other feelings as a dog - as an object by killing him/her or putting him/her on a plate.
Animals on your plate were brutally slaughtered. It is unethical to cause unnecessary pain and death to an animal. Brutally slaughter is unnecessary pain and death.

The animal doesn't see any love and compassion and opposition towards abuse about humans taking her life -- and I think that we must take the perspective of the most vulnerable member in our society.
